(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) -- Worship artist David Glenn's new album "Relentless" is available in stores today. The album was originally released to digital outlets by Glenn's own Evident Music label on June 25th, but early buzz led to a distribution deal with Nashville-based Elevate Entertainment, who has now placed the album in stores nationwide.
Produced by Scotty Wilbanks (Third Day, Newsong, Decemberadio), Glenn's first nationally marketed release quickly climbed to #23 on the iTunes Christian and Gospel Albums Chart. Drawing comparisons to contemporaries like Chris Tomlin and Passion, the worship leader's anthemic choruses such as "Glorify Your Name" and "Bread of Life" are already being sung by countless congregations every Sunday.
In support of the album, Glenn will be making a number of media appearances throughout the fall, including LESEA Broadcasting's "The Harvest Show" on October 23rd and Cornerstone Television Network's "Real Life" on October 29th. "Relentless" will also be featured on Focus on the Family's Plugged In Podcast on October 10th.
The first radio single, "Great King," is now being added to stations nationwide, with an official lyric video set to premiere next month exclusively at NewReleaseTuesday.com. Worship Leader has also selected "You Reign" for their popular Song DISCovery series, with the song set to be included on Volume 113 (Nov/Dec).
Earlier this month, Glenn teamed up with Gospel chart-topper Earl Bynum and the Mount Unity Choir for a trio of special performances to promote church and racial unity. Bynum and the Mount Unity Choir joined Glenn to perform his song "We Are One (Stand United)" at their home church, The Mount, in Chesapeake, VA on September 1st, and then at Glenn's home church, Chesapeake's River Oak Church, on September 8th. Then on September 14th, they came together on the main stage at the Chesapeake Christian Music Festival, which Glenn hosted. Glenn also shared the stage with former tourmates Newsong for a special worship set.
"I'm so honored to see how God is expanding my territory and excited that these new songs of worship are available to the masses," said Glenn. "It's my hope that this album will encourage every listener to turn their hearts to our Great King and remind all who listen that nothing can separate us from the love of God."
